APEX KRAV MAGA Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

In the interests of all students and Instructors, we ask all members of Apex Krav Maga to read, understand and adhere to our code of conduct. This will allow us to provide tuition to the highest standard as well as being able to provide a safe, fun, and positive training environment.

  • All students are expected to be courteous and respectful to each other at all times.
  • Poor behaviour and bad language will not be tolerated at anytime. Those found to be continually disrespectful will be asked to leave.
  • All students should wear a clean, ironed uniform, with T-shirts tucked in, to every class.
  • Footwear is to be clean, and of the 'Trainer' variety.
  • For safety, finger and toenails should be kept short.
  • Personal hygiene is of paramount importance.
  • No jewellery or watches should be worn whilst training. If it is not possible to remove jewellery, it should be suitably covered with tape/plasters.
  • Classes may already be running when you arrive, so please wait quietly outside the training area until called by an Instructor.
  • For safety reasons, any student arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be permitted to train. Missing the class warm up means the body isn’t prepared for the physical activity to come, increasing the chance of injury.
  • If you join the class (5-10 minutes) after the class has started you should wait at an appropriate place at the side of the training area for the Instructor to acknowledge you.
  • Dressing and undressing in the training area is not permitted.
  • If students need to remove any part of their uniform for any reason they should ask permission from the Instructor.
  • No eating or chewing of gum is allowed in class. This is for health & safety reasons.
  • All mobile phones should be switched off or put on silence whilst the class is in progress, unless it is required for emergencies.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the class without the permission of the Instructor. This is for health & safety reasons.
  • If a student has to leave before the end of the class, they must seek the permission of the Instructor prior to the commencement of the class.
  • If a student needs to exit while the class is lined up, make the Instructor aware, No student is to just ‘wander’ off. This is for health & safety reasons.
  • Whilst training, students should try and concentrate on the task at hand and not get involved with idle chatter. Focus and concentration should be maintained at all times.
  • Students should not teach another student during the class unless they have been given permission by the Instructor.
  • Any substitute Instructor or class assistant should be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect as the regular Instructor.

  • Any student found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, will be asked to leave, and banned from the club. No exceptions.
